Mukesh Ambani was paid no salary as the chairperson of the Reliance Group for the year ended March 2024. Ambani has not been drawing any salary from Reliance for the past four years, opting to give up his salary back to the company in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
His cousin Nikhil R Meswani was paid a total salary of around ₹25.31 crore. Meswani, the son of Rasiklal Meswani, began his career at Reliance in 1986.

However, the highest-paid Reliance employee was his brother Hital R. Meswani, who was paid a total salary of ₹25.42 crore. He has been a full-time director on the Board of Reliance Industries since August 4, 1995, serving as Executive Director. His responsibilities encompass the Petroleum Refining and Marketing Business, Petrochemicals Manufacturing, and several corporate functions.
Nita Ambani earns a salary of 94 lakh, while Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani each earn a salary of 1.01 crore.
