The development comes shortly after a high-level delegation from Bhutan led by its King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay visited a 30-gigawatt renewable energy site at the Khavda and Mundra ports on Tuesday.

"We are excited about doing our part to foster collaboration with the Land of the Thunder Dragon for a sustainable and greener future," Gautam Adani, the chairman of Adani Group, posted on the social media platform X.

Last month, it was reported that the firm was eyeing a massive wind energy investment in Sri Lanka
