Infrastructure development firm, K2 Infragen, has announced that it has been awarded a ₹33.41 crore contract for a project with the North Western Railway (NWR).
What Happened: The contract pertains to the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of high-rise Overhead Equipment (OHE) for the Rewari-Kathuwas doubling project. The contract, won by Leena-Arnoo, will be executed by K2 Infragen. This project forms part of the Rewari-Kathuwas doubling initiative by the Jaipur Division of NWR. The project is slated for completion by October 30, 2025.
This contract has boosted K2 Infragen’s current order book to ₹477.14 crore. The project is a significant stride towards enhancing rail infrastructure in the Jaipur division, aligning with NWR’s objectives of broadening network connectivity and modernizing existing facilities, the company said in a press release.

With a market cap of around ₹340 crore, the micro-cap stock is an integrated EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) company. Its client list includes major names such as L&T, TATA, and HG Infra. The company recently made its debut on the NSE. Shares of K2 Infragen were listed at ₹167 on the NSE SME platform on April 8, a premium of around 40%, over the issue price of ₹119.
