RVNL has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IMS Consultancy Private Limited (IMS). The MoU aims at availing technical and advisory services from IMS for a range of projects across various sectors.
What Happened: The MoU was signed on July 10, 2024, as disclosed by RVNL in an exchange filing. The collaboration with IMS is expected to provide RVNL with technical and advisory services for multiple projects in sectors such as railways, tunnels, roads (highways & expressways), bridges, building works, airports, ports, irrigation, power transmission and distribution, solar sector, wind sector, hydro power sector, etc. in Nepal.

Earlier in the day, RVNL’s share price rebounded strongly after a 3% drop the previous day, following the announcement of an MoU with Tatweer Middle East and Africa for executing rail-based projects in the Middle East, North Africa, and European countries. The company also announced bagging two orders on Tuesday.
Furthermore, RVNL, in consortium with Siemens, bagged an order from Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to provide advanced rail electrification technologies.
