Zerodha Users Irked With Another Technical Glitch, Broker Says Issue Fixed

Zerodha users found themselves in the lurch on Monday morning as the discount broker faced another technical issue. Frustrated users took to social media to share their displeasure with the company.

What Happened: On Monday morning Zerodha users said the orders placed on the app were not being executed. The users whose order was stuck could not withdraw their capital either as the brokerage said the order was being processed. Several users shared their plight on social media.

Zerodha said some of its users were facing the issue of not seeing the status of the order placed. The broker said the issue was fixed and apologised to the users.

This glitch marked the sixth time in the last 9 months that the users of the discount broker faced technical issues. In June, users faced issues twice when the app couldn’t execute trades due to technical issues. The latest before today was on June 21, when Zerodha's Kite — mobile, web, and API platforms — faced a brief outage. Another instance was on June 3 when the market opened at a record high.
