Tata Motors posted its sales report for the month of June after the market close on Monday.
What Happened: The company’s total domestic sales for June came in at 74,147 units, down around 8% from the 80,383 vehicles sold in June. Total commercial vehicle sales came in at 31,980 units, down 7% from the 34,414 units we sold in June.
Domestic commercial vehicle sales were at 30,623 units, down 8% from the 33,148 units it sold in June 2023. Domestic passenger vehicle sales came in at 43,524 units, down 8% from the 47,235 vehicles sold in June 2023. EV sales slumped 34% year-on-year to 4,657 units.
