Why It Matters: This new order comes on the heels of a series of significant wins for L&T. Last month, L&T secured a major offshore contract from ONGC for the Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP).

On June 24, L&T bagged an order to construct a solar and energy Storage plant in Bihar. The power transmission and distribution (PT&D) division of L&T secured a domestic order to erect a grid-connected 185-megawatt solar photovoltaic plant as well as a battery energy storage system (BESS) with a capacity of 254 megawatt-hours.
