Bajaj Auto‘s share price was upbeat on Monday morning after the company posted its sales update for the month of June.
What Happened: The company’s total sales for June 2024 came in at 3.58 lakh vehicles, up around 5% from the 3.40 lakh units it sold in June 2023.
Total domestic sales saw an 8% increase at 2.16 lakh units, compared with the 1.99 lakh vehicles sold in June 2023. Exports also saw marginal growth at 1.42 lakh units, up from 1.40 lakh units.

Total two-wheeler sales came in at 3.03 lakh, a 3% increase from the 2.93 lakh vehicles sold a year ago, driven by domestic sales.
The company sold 1.77 lakh two-wheelers in the domestic market last month, compared with the 1.66 lakh sold last year. Exports stood at 1.26 lakh units, marginally lower than the 1.27 lakh units logged a year ago.
Commercial vehicle sales registered double-digit growth. Total sales for the month were at 54,831 units, up 16% from the 47,332 units. Domestic sales also registered a 16% year-on-year growth to 39,244 units. Export sales came in at 15,587 units, up 14% from the 13,641 vehicles.
Price Action: Bajaj Auto’s share price was up 1.04% to trade at ₹9,600 soon after market open on Monday.
