Adrian Mardell, CEO, Jaguar Land Rover
The highest-paid Tata Group CEO is Adrian Mardell who heads the luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover. As per Tata Motors’ annual report, Mardell’s salary for the year ended March 2024 was around ₹39.83 crore. Mardell has been with the company for over three decades and was appointed CEO in 2023.
K Krithivasan, CEO, Tata Consultancy Services
Heading India’s biggest IT services company, K Krithivasan was paid a total salary of around ₹26 crore. He was appointed CEO in June 2023, taking over from Rajesh Gopinathan. The IIT Kanpur alum has been with TCS for over three decades.
PB Balaji, CFO, Tata Motors
The Group CFO of Tata Motors, PB Balaji received a total compensation of ₹20.78 crore for the year ended March 2024. Balaji has been serving as the Group CFO of Tata Motors since November 2017. Before joining Tata Motors, he served as the CFO at Hindustan Unilever.
T V Narendran, CEO, Tata Steel
The head honcho at Tata Group steel company was paid a total salary of ₹17.45 crore for the year. Narendran, an IIM alum has over 35 years of experience in the mining and metals industry.
A S Lakshminarayanan, CEO, Tata Communications
A S Lakshminarayanan was paid a total salary of ₹17.01 crore for the year. A veteran of over 35 years with the Tata Group, he has served as the managing director and CEO of Tata Communications since November 2019.

Koushik Chatterjee, CFO, Tata Steel
For the year ended March 2024, Koushik Chatterjee received a remuneration of ₹13.61 crore. Another Tata veteran, Chatterjee joined Tata Steel in 1995 in Jamshedpur. He was then transferred to Tata Sons in 1999 in the Group Executive Office. He re-joined Tata Steel in 2003 and was appointed as the Group CFO in 2008.
C K Venkataraman, MD, Titan
C K Venkataraman was paid a total remuneration of ₹12.50 crore. During his tenure the consolidated revenue of the company increased from ₹21,052 crore in FY20 to ₹51,084 crore in FY24, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.40%.
Warren Harris, CEO, Tata Technologies
The recently listed Tata Technologies CEO, Warren Harris was paid a total salary of around ₹9 crore. In addition to this, he was paid around ₹3.69 crore in the US in the capacity of director of Tata Technologies Inc.
Praveer Sinha, CEO, Tata Power
The energy company's CEO Praveer Sinha was paid a total salary of ₹10.25 crore. Sinha has over three decades of experience in the power sector. Before his appointment at Tata Power, Sinha served as the CEO & managing director of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL).
Sunil D'Souza, CEO, Tata Consumer
The Tata Group’s FMCG major’s CEO was paid a total salary of ₹10.13 crore. Before joining Tata, he served as the managing director of Whirlpool India for four years. Prior to this, he spent almost 15 years at PepsiCo, where he held several leadership roles.
