Non-Executive chairman A M Naik will step down after the company’s 28th annual general meeting. S N Subrahmanyan, currently serving as the non-executive vice-chairman, is set to succeed him.

What Happened: The company in an exchange filing on Wednesday said that the Board of Directors has given the green light to the appointment of Subrahmanyan as the chairman, effective from June 27, 2024.

The Board and the LTIMindtree family have expressed their deep appreciation for Naik’s significant contributions to the company, including his role in founding the IT giant and his unwavering dedication towards its growth and success.

Subrahmanyan, also known as SNS, joined the Board of L&T Infotech in 2015 and was appointed as the vice chairman in 2017. He played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Mindtree in 2019 and spearheaded the merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree, the company added in the press release.

Upon his appointment, Subrahmanyan acknowledged Naik’s efforts in building LTIMindtree and expressed his commitment to carry forward the company’s legacy of trust, customer focus, timely delivery, quality, people-centricity, and professionalism.
