On Thursday, Nifty 500 was up 0.36% to 22,305.10.
Fertiliser stocks gained in the session after the central government hiked MSP for Kharif crops.
FACT, RCF surged 20% and hit the upper circuit for trade in the session at ₹1090.35 and ₹222.26 respectively. Mark Mobius-backed MapMyIndia also soared 20% and hit the upper circuit at ₹2409.65 after brokerage firm Goldman Sachs initiated coverage on the stocks with an upside of 40%.
Deepak Fertilizers led the surge with a notable 12.80% increase in its share price, closing at ₹728.15, up from ₹645.5. Chambal Fertilisers followed with a substantial 19.29% jump to ₹557.85.
