Nadir Godrej, the chairperson of Godrej Agrovet, has bought three luxury apartments in the affluent Malabar Hill area of Mumbai. The total cost of the purchase is a whopping ₹180 crore, Moneycontrol reported citing documents obtained by Zapkey.
What Happened: Godrej’s acquisition includes three apartments in Ruparel House, a luxury residential building in Malabar Hill. The deal saw Godrej buying the properties from JSW Realty at a rate of ₹1.3 lakh per square foot, totalling 13,831 sq ft.

Each apartment, located on the sixth, seventh, and eighth floors, has a carpet area of 4,610 sq ft. The sale agreement was signed on June 12, with Godrej paying a stamp duty of ₹3.5 crore for each apartment.
Malabar Hill, known for being home to some of India’s wealthiest industrialists, is one of Mumbai’s most expensive neighbourhoods. Godrej’s net worth is around $3.9 billion (around ₹32,300 crore), as per Forbes.
