What Happened: Tata Technologies announced on Tuesday that it has successfully deployed SAP S/4 HANA for Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd. This implementation marks a crucial step in Mitsubishi Electric India’s digital transformation strategy, which aims to streamline and unify its business processes. The deployment has led to a 15% increase in operational efficiency, as per the company’s statement.
SAP S/4HANA is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system equipped with AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. It enhances business processes through intelligent automation and operates on SAP HANA, an in-memory database known for its real-time processing speeds and simplified data model.

The project was accomplished within an 11-month timeline, achieving a 25% reduction in the original schedule. This was made possible by Tata Technologies’ cross-functional teams and digital accelerators, such as pre-configured templates for the manufacturing industry, pre-built authorization matrix, EDI solutions, SAP MES integration connector, data migration & validation tool, and reusable automation test scripts.
Warren Harris, CEO of Tata Technologies, expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, “This project with Mitsubishi Electric India is a testament to Tata Technologies' mission of helping manufacturing companies worldwide conceptualize and manufacture better products.”
Price Action: Tata Tech’s share price was up 0.18% to trade at ₹1,059.45 on Tuesday morning.
