The pre-wedding cruise bash of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani's son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was a glamorous affair, with Bollywood actress Kiara Advani and businesswoman Isha Ambani stealing the spotlight.

What Happened: Advani and Isha Ambani, who have been friends since their school days, were the cynosure of all eyes at the event.

Isha Ambani is Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter.

Advani, who is recognized for her roles in “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” and “Kabir Singh,” shared a photo on Instagram where both women were seen in backless gowns. The actress was wearing a black number while the groom's sister had donned an orange piece.

The post garnered a wave of positive comments from fans, lauding the actresses’ beauty and style. Advani’s husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra, was also in attendance, along with other Bollywood celebrities.

Why It Matters: The Ambani-Merchant pre-wedding bash has been making headlines for its grandeur and star-studded guest list. Earlier in March, during the pre-wedding festivities held in Jamnagar, pop icon Rihanna also performed. As per media reports, the pop star charged nearly $8 to $9 million (₹66 to ₹74 crore) for her performance.

Meanwhile, the second pre-wedding celebration, which was hosted by the Ambani family on a luxury cruise from Palermo to the south of France, has sparked outrage among locals.

Locals and visitors have turned to social media to voice their frustration about the inaccessibility of various locations in Portofino. The closure of the bay area, a major tourist attraction, has caused inconvenience to many and sparked widespread criticism.
