Fast Forward: What makes Gau Organics stand out is its commitment to sustainable practices. The farm produces 70% of its electricity needs from waste. Singh installed two 40 Kilo Watt biogas plants on the farm that convert cow dung and urine into electricity, generating ₹1.5–1.8 lakh worth electricity every month.

In addition to this, Gau Organics practices rainwater harvesting and operates a 60 KW solar power plant, further enhancing its sustainability efforts.

Singh’s innovative approach to dairy farming is a significant step towards sustainable agriculture in India. By utilising waste to generate electricity, Gau Organics not only reduces its operational costs but also contributes to environmental conservation. This farm can be used as a model for other farms across the country to adopt similar sustainable practices, thereby promoting a greener and more sustainable agricultural sector in India.
