Zerodha Users Face Technical Glitch Again, 4th In 8 Months

Brokerage app Zerodha faced technical issues on Monday morning, with users being unable to execute their trades from their accounts.

What Happened: Zerodha users on X (formerly known as Twitter) said they were unable to execute their trades in the app. Users complained that the app was down and were unable to execute trades as markets opened at record highs after exit polls predicted victory for the incumbent BJP government.

Users complained that they were not able to execute their trades and not able to view their watchlist of stocks.

The brokerage replied to multiple accounts to do a hard refresh by pressing  Ctrl + Shift + R and to use alternative internet connection if the issue still persists. It also suggested using the Kite app.

The outage marks the fourth instance in the last eight months when the Zerodha app was down with technical glitches. In April, the app’s price feed was stuck. In December, users were unable to login to the Kite web app and the broker suggested using the mobile app version. The brokerage had another glitch in November when users were not able to access their holdings.
