On Friday, Nifty closed 0.19% up at 22,530.70. Adani Enterprises topped the list of gainers, while Divis Laboratories ended as the biggest loser.

Adani Enterprises emerged as the top performer with a 6.9% increase, closing at ₹3,411.4. The trend was observed across all Group stocks. The massive surge comes just a day after London-based Snowcap Research released a report on Adani Green accusing the firm of inflating metrics, overstating cashflow estimates and relying heavily on related party transactions. These allegations were denied by the company.

Adani Ports came second with a 3.9% jump closing at ₹1,437.4. Shriram Finance and Coal India saw an increase of 2.2% and 1.9% respectively. Tata Steel capped the gainers list with a 1.9% gain. The stock gained despite the brokerages maintaining a cautious stance on the stock.

Other notable gainers included HDFC Bank and Bajaj Finance, which saw an increase of 1.10% and 1.23% respectively. HDFC Bank closed at ₹1531.55, while Bajaj Finance ended the day at ₹6697.70.

On the flip side, Divis Lab emerged as the biggest loser, with a decline of 2.39%, closing at ₹4307.20. It was closely followed by Nestle India, which saw a decrease of 2.08%, ending the day at ₹2354.90.

Other underperformers included TCS, Maruti Suzuki, and LTI Mindtree, which saw a decline of 1.74%, 1.58%, and 1.49% respectively. TCS closed at ₹3670.95, Maruti Suzuki ended the day at ₹12,399.30, while LTIMindtree wrapped up at ₹4701.90.
