RHI Magnesita India jumped by 10.59% to ₹736.35, a gain from ₹665.85. Other notable gainers included Linde India, KNR Constructions and Paytm rising by 8.67%, 8.09% and 4.99% respectively.
On the downside, IRB Infrastructure Developers dropped sharply by 10.32%, closing at ₹65.20, down from ₹72.70.
KFintech also saw a significant decrease of 8.82%, with its stock price falling to ₹678.30 from ₹743.90. The stock fell after a block deal involving a 6% stake in the company was executed at the exchanges in the session. CNBC-TV18 reported that General Atlantic Singapore is likely the seller.
GMR Airports Infrastructure despite narrowing its quarterly losses, still ended the day lower by 6.84%.
