Adani Enterprises Leads Nifty Gainers; Cipla Major Loser On Tuesday

Tuesday’s trading session saw NIFTY 50 index closing higher compared to the previous day. Adani Enterprises soared, leading the gainers, while Cipla faced a notable downturn, heading the list of losers.

Adani Enterprises topped the chart with a remarkable increase of 5.49%, elevating its stock price to ₹3037.55 from the previous close of ₹2879.60.

Following suit was Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), which witnessed a robust gain of 3.92%, bringing its stock price up to ₹2269.90 from ₹2184.25.

Hero MotoCorp also experienced a healthy increase, with its stock appreciating by 3.23% to ₹5043.45, up from ₹4885.55. The stock also hit its all-time high in Tuesday’s session.

Larsen & Toubro and JSW Steel completed the top five gainers, with increases of 2.6% and 2.43%, closing at ₹3379.45 and ₹881.5, respectively.

On the other side of the spectrum, Cipla led the decliners, with its stock price falling by 4.05% to ₹1357.35 from ₹1414.65. The drop could be due to profit-taking after recent gains.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also saw its stock price decrease by 1.18% to ₹3901.20 from ₹3947.80.

Nestle India, Tata Consumer Products, and Axis Bank also registered slight declines in their stock prices by 1.15%, 1.05%, and 0.81% respectively, closing at ₹2487.35, ₹1085.45, and ₹1122.85.
