Airtel’s Bharti Hexacom posted its first quarterly results after going public earlier this year.
What Happened: The company’s net profit for the quarter came in at ₹222.6 crore, up around 10.7% from the ₹201.9 crore posted in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations for the March quarter stood at ₹1,868 crore, up around 7.8% from the ₹1,733 crore posted in the same quarter last year.
EBITDA increased 14.6% year-on-year to ₹914 crore. EBITDA margin improved from 46% in the March quarter of 2023 to 48.9% in the March quarter of 2024, led by operating leverage and cost efficiencies emerging from the ‘War on Waste’ program.

The company also announced a final dividend of ₹4/share for the year ended March 2024. Bharti Hexacom witnessed a 6.8% YoY growth in mobile revenues at ₹1,823 crore, attributed to improved realisation and consistent additions of 4G/5G customers throughout the year.
The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) for the quarter reached ₹204, compared to ₹189 posted in the same quarter last year. The company said that this increase was driven by sustained enhancements in the product mix and a strategic focus on quality acquisitions.
The company added around 25 lakh 4G/5G data customers to its network over the last year, an increase of 14.5% YoY.
Price Action: Bharti Hexacom’s share price was down 0.05% to close at ₹899.70 on Tuesday.
