Swiggy Instamart’s CEO, Phani Kishan, reported varying popular orders across cities, with roses leading in Bangalore and Mumbai, while other cities favoured chocolates, plants, cakes, and perfumes. This surge in orders wasn’t confined to Zomato and Swiggy.

The ride-hailing company Ola and Magicpin, an e-commerce platform backed by Zomato, also joined forces under the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to deliver food items on Mother’s Day. T Koshy, CEO of ONDC, highlighted the successful collaboration between Ola and Magicpin, emphasizing the initiative’s capacity to compete with major players in the market.
