Bengaluru-Based EV Startup Welcomes Tesla Interns Who Found Their Offers Rescinded

Pravaig Dynamics, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup, has extended a warm welcome to the Tesla interns who found their offers abruptly rescinded by Elon Musk-led tech giant a few weeks before their start dates.

What Happened: Pravaig Dynamics has invited the affected interns to join their team located in the ‘Silicon Valley of India’. This comes as a reaction to Tesla’s sudden withdrawal of internship offers, a part of cost-cutting measures undertaken by its CEO.

Several of these interns used LinkedIn to voice their disappointment and anxieties over finding replacement internships on such short notice. Responding to their predicament, Shivangi Bagri, partner at Pravaig Dynamics, promised them a nurturing environment at Pravaig. Bagri emphasized that a Tesla offer letter is a testament to the interns’ skills, experience, and potential, which doesn’t disappear with a rescinded offer.

In a post on Linkedin, Bagri wrote, “Transitioning to a new role, especially with an exciting company like Tesla, is an endeavour that requires both emotional and logistical preparation. To have that excitement abruptly halted is undoubtedly a tough pill to swallow.”

She then added that if someone has not figured out what to do now and has a genuine offer letter from Tesla, the company would be happy to give them an opportunity at the company.
