InterGlobe Aviation’s promoter Rahul Bhatia and former Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani have teamed up to launch a new technology company named AionOS.

What Happened: This venture aims to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to assist businesses in decision-making through a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform tailored for the travel, transportation, logistics and hospitality (TTLH) sector.

InterGlobe, the parent company of IndiGo Airlines, holds a majority stake in AionOS, which is headquartered in Singapore. The company plans to establish offices in Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Bhatia, the group managing director of InterGlobe, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “InterGlobe has always been a pioneer in innovation and development. We are excited to partner with C.P. on this groundbreaking venture.”

AionOS aims to bridge the enterprise’s existing data sources to minimise the risk of information gaps. The platform will also integrate this data to ensure that AI enhances the existing business logic and computational models.

CP Gurnani, serving as the executive vice chairman of AionOS, highlighted the company’s focus on setting new industry benchmarks, saying the venture is “developing SaaS solutions that seamlessly integrate into sectors like travel, transport, logistics, and hospitality.”
