Wipro posted its earnings for the quarter that ended March in the after-market hours on Friday.
What Happened: The IT major’s revenue from operations for the quarter ended March stood at ₹22,208 crore, from the ₹23,190 crore reported in the year-ago period. The numbers are mostly in-line with consensus estimates. IT services revenue was at $2,657.4 million.

Consolidated net profits for the period stood at crore ₹2,835 crore, down 8% from the ₹3,074 crore posted in the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at ₹5.43. For the June quarter, the company expects revenue from IT Services business segment to be in the range of $2,617 million to $2,670 million. This translates to sequential guidance of (-)1.5% to +0.5% in constant currency terms.
The IT Behemoths’s Board of Directors confirmed the interim dividend of ₹1 declared by the Board earlier at its meeting held on January 12th, 2024, shall be considered as the final dividend for the FY24.
Price Action: Wipro’s share price was up 1.74% to trade at ₹452.10 to close on Friday.
