A 17-year-old’s Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) hopeful’s study routine has caught the attention of netizens on social media platform X, eliciting a range of responses.
What Happened: A handle called Indian Tech & Infra shared an image of a rigorous study routine that it claimed to be of the teenage IIT aspirant preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), via the handle @rcx86.
The image outlines a gruelling timetable that begins at 4:30 a.m. in the morning and ends at 11:45 p.m. at night. The schedule is mostly centred around studying for the competitive exam, making notes and revision, with a few breaks for food and naps.
The post drew varied responses from commentators, with many reminiscing the days of their own preparation and others finding fault with such a tightly packed schedule.

“Every JEE preparing student makes a timetable like this which he rarely follows,” one user said jokingly.
“Tbh (to be honest) making these makes no sense for the long term, almost every creative folks (sic) I have worked with or listened to often prefer to work or study at their own convenience and I feel that’s how it should be,” another user commented.
Another user who was himself an IIT topper said the hectic schedule was not necessary: “I literally scored full marks in JEE Main 2017 (AIR 1) and didn't study half as much. Students who study this much usually end up burnt out, skill issue.”
