Nifty 500 Gainers: PSU Stock Jumps 18%

Wednesday’s trading session witnessed a significant surge in the Nifty 500 index, with ITI, BLS International Services, and SJVN emerging as the top performers. On the other hand, Tata Investment Corporation, Prestige Estates Projects, and IIFL Finance were among the biggest losers.

BLS International Services led the pack of gainers with a whopping 19.17% increase, closing at ₹343.15, up from its last close of ₹287.95. ITI followed closely, registering an 18.31% rise to close at ₹276.55, a significant jump from its previous close of ₹233.75. SJVN also had a strong showing, with its stock price rising by 17.24% to ₹118.65, up from ₹101.20.

Other notable gainers included NCC and The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT), which saw their stock prices increase by 13.68% each. NCC closed at ₹239.75, while FACT ended the trading day at ₹674.60.

On the flip side, Tata Investment Corporation was the biggest loser, with its stock price falling by 5% to ₹7947.05, down from its last close of ₹8365.30. Prestige Estates Projects and IIFL Finance also took a hit, with their stock prices dipping by 4.57% and 3.54% respectively. Prestige Estates Projects closed at ₹1071.70, while IIFL Finance ended the day at ₹370.55.

Other stocks that witnessed a decline included Archean Chemical Industries and GMM Pfaudler, with their stock prices falling by 3.11% and 2.92% respectively. Archean Chemical Industries closed at ₹588.40, while GMM Pfaudler ended the trading session at ₹1233.65.
