HDFC Life Climbs More Than 3% To Lead Nifty 50 Gainers

In today’s NIFTY 50 trading, HDFC Life emerged as the top gainer, while Mahindra & Mahindra saw the most significant drop.

HDFC Life saw an impressive rise of 3.45% from its last close, taking its current price to ₹610.30. This was the highest percentage change amongst today’s top gainers.

Close on its heels was Oil and Natural Gas Corporation with a 3.20% increase to ₹279.20. Next, NTPC posted a gain of 3.01%, pushing its price to ₹353.85.

BPCL also added to the positive momentum, with a 2.75% increase, reaching ₹640.45. Lastly, Power Grid Corporation of India marked a 2.42% rise, concluding at ₹294.65.

On the other side of the spectrum, Mahindra & Mahindra experienced the most significant slump amongst the day’s top losers, with a 2.63% decrease to ₹1921.05.

Eicher Motors followed suit, shedding 2.40% off its value to touch ₹3751.45. Britannia Industries also saw a decline, dropping by 1.80% to ₹4838.90.

SBi Life and Ultratech Cement rounded off the top five losers, with declines of 1.57% and 1.55%, bringing their prices down to ₹1517.95 and ₹9978.40, respectively.

Today’s trading saw a mixed bag of performances, with some stocks making notable gains while others experienced marked drops. As always, the market continues to be a fascinating playground for investors and traders alike.
