Uber‘s CEO Dara Khosrowshahi’s India visit made several headlines as he met with industry leaders such as Anand Mahindra and Gautam Adani.
But something that caught a few eyes was Khosrowshahi trying his hands at India’s favourite sport. He joined in a friendly match with drivers and colleagues in Gurgaon.

Despite his novice status in the sport, Khosrowshahi showcased promising talent by swiftly hitting a boundary within his initial attempts at batting. However, his moment of glory was short-lived as he was soon bowled out.
Undeterred by his brief stint on the pitch, Khosrowshahi enjoyed the camaraderie with drivers, indulging in chai and samosas.
During his India visit, the Iran-born CEO signed an MoU with ONDC, took a bus ride and drove an e-rickshaw as well.
