Nifty 50 Gainers: Tata Motors Shares Hit New All-Time High

The NIFTY 50 index saw a mixed bag of performances on Tuesday, with Tata Motors leading the pack of top gainers and Hero MotoCorp trailing at the bottom.

Among the top performers, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries saw a modest rise of 1.45% from its last close, trading at ₹1,579.55. Following closely was IndusInd Bank with a 1.73% increase, currently priced at ₹1,492.00.

Power Grid Corporation of India also made its mark in the green zone, witnessing a 1.80% surge and trading at ₹293.00. TCS wasn’t far behind, with a 2.48% hike, trading at a robust ₹4,100.50.

However, the star of the day was Tata Motors, which outperformed its peers with a significant 2.73% jump, trading at ₹962.55. Shares of the company also hit a new all-time high of ₹965.

On the flip side, the market wasn’t as kind to some. Hero MotoCorp took the biggest hit among the top losers, with a 1.69% drop, trading at ₹4420.10. Bajaj Finance followed suit with a 1.32% decrease, trading at ₹6555.40.

Adding to the list of underperformers, the State Bank of India saw a 1.23% dip, trading at ₹749.50. Bajaj Finserv also faced a setback with a 1.19% drop, currently priced at ₹1595.00.

The last in the line of top losers was Divi’s Laboratories, which saw a slight decrease of 1.04%, trading at ₹3540.00.
