Bharti Airtel Limited has joined hands with Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited (CMEPL) to launch Anime Booth, India’s first Anime Entertainment Channel.

What Happened: Airtel, in a press release on Friday, announced its partnership with CMEPL to launch Anime Booth, a pioneering anime channel in India. The channel is set to transform the anime viewing experience in the country by offering uninterrupted, ad-free content to anime fans.

The channel will be accessible through Airtel’s DTH services, including Airtel Digital TV and Airtel Xstream TV. Anime Booth will cater to a diverse segment of anime content. Priced at Rs. 1.8 per day, the service aims to provide an affordable platform for viewers to enjoy their favourite anime series without any disruptions.

Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Airtel Digital TV, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating that the introduction of Anime Booth marks a significant collaboration with Sony. Leena Lele Dutta, business head – Sony YAY!, (CMEPL), also emphasized the increasing popularity of anime in India and the objective of this collaboration to enhance and elevate the anime viewing experience for India’s fervent fan community.
