Tata Stock Jumps 2% To Lead Nifty 50 Gainers

On Wednesday, Tata Steel Ltd. emerged as the top gainer, while Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. trailed as the biggest loser.

Leading the gainers’ list, Tata Steel Ltd. saw a significant surge of 2.02%, with its current price standing at ₹143.90, up from its last close at ₹141.05. The steel giant’s performance was a bright spot in today’s trading session.

Following closely, State Bank of India registered a 1.5% increase, with its current price at ₹771.5, compared to its last close at ₹760.10. The State Bank of India continues to show robust performance on the trading floor.

Next in line, IndusInd Bank Ltd. experienced a 0.87% rise, with its current price at ₹1517.25, up from its previous close at ₹1504.20. The private sector bank maintained its upward trajectory.

JSW Steel Ltd. also made it to the top gainers, with a 0.86% increase. The stock’s current price stands at ₹828.25, up from its last close at ₹821.20.

Lastly, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. saw a modest gain of 0.55%, with its current price at ₹1160.75, slightly up from its last close at ₹1154.40.

On the flip side, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. emerged as the biggest loser, with a decline of 3.71%. The stock’s current price stands at ₹633.20, down from its last close at ₹657.60.

Following BPCL, Coal India Ltd. witnessed a 3.03% drop, with its current price at ₹432.95, down from its last close at ₹446.50.

NTPC Ltd. also experienced a slump, with a 2.78% decrease. The stock’s current price stands at ₹336.10, down from its last close at ₹345.70.

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. followed suit with a 2.71% fall. The stock’s current price stands at ₹280.10, down from its last close at ₹287.90.

Lastly, Hero MotoCorp Ltd. registered a 2.23% drop, with its current price at ₹4534.85, down from its last close at ₹4638.35.
