Blinkit Registers Record Sales Of Roses, Chocolates As Valentine Week Kicks In

The beginning of Valentine’s Week has seen a surge in rose and chocolate sales for Blinkit, outdoing their 2023 sales, as revealed by CEO Albinder Dhindsa.

What Happened: According to a tweet by Dhindsa, the company has already surpassed their Rose Day sales from last year in the early hours of the start of Valentine’s Week. Dhindsa’s tweet indicates that the rose sales are expected to shoot up even more by the evening.

He also added a shared graphic indicating a steady rise in rose sales on the platform, surpassing the total from the previous year. He also shared that the company is also on track to sell more chocolates today than it did on the last chocolate day.

In another tweet, he said that 20% of all orders placed today were made through the platform’s “Order for someone else flow.” This feature allows users to place orders for others, making it convenient for people to send Valentine’s Day gifts. Dhindsa expressed appreciation for being able to help many individuals send Valentine’s gifts through Blinkit.
