Conversely, Larsen & Toubro faced the largest decline, with its stock price falling by 4.23% to ₹3,479.75.

Titan Company and Tata Consumer Products also experienced declines, with decreases of 1.02% and 0.44%. Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Kotak Mahindra Bank completed the list of top losers, witnessing slight drops of 0.37% and an almost flat performance with an increase of 0.09%.
On Wednesday, the Nifty 50 and Sensex surged, with the Nifty closing at 21,725.70, up by 204 points (0.95%), and the Sensex ending at 71,752.11, up by 612 points (0.86%). Within the Sensex, only Larsen & Toubro and Titan recorded losses.
Both the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices hit record highs during the session, closing at 38,774.50 (up by 1.57%) and 45,722.58 (up by 1.83%), respectively. After gains in the last two months, the benchmark indices ended January slightly lower, with the Sensex down by approximately 0.7% and the Nifty 50 nearly flat, down by 0.03%.
