Samsung has announced that its latest Galaxy S24 series, loaded with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) features, will be manufactured in India. The Korean electronics giant plans to use its India factory for both domestic sales and global exports, as stated by senior company officials to Business Standard.

What to know? Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S24 series, unveiled as its flagship device, with AI-based applications aimed at boosting productivity. These include real-time voice call and message translation in languages such as Hindi, advanced image editing, and camera effects catered to content creators. The series also boasts Corning Gorilla Armor glass for enhanced display durability.

“The Galaxy S24 series is a device of the future, bringing AI to life,” explains J B Park, President and CEO of Samsung India.

Pre-booking for the Galaxy S24 series in India started January 18, with sales commencing January 31. The smartphones offer storage options ranging from 8GB system memory and 256GB storage to 12GB with 1TB, and their prices range from ₹79,999 to ₹1,59,999.

Promotional Offers: Emphasizing India’s role in the AI revolution, Samsung is also introducing promotional offers for existing S series users. “We have a special upgrade program in India,” said Raju Pullan, Samsung India's Senior Vice-President for mobile business, indicating attractive deals on various Galaxy S24 models.
