Apple has opened a state-of-the-art office in Bengaluru, signalling its increasing commitment to India, the world's second-largest smartphone market, as part of its strategy to diversify its operations beyond China.
What to know? This new office accommodates up to 1,200 employees across 15 floors and features dedicated lab spaces, collaborative areas, wellness facilities, and Caffe Macs.
“Apple is thrilled to expand in India with our new office in the heart of Bengaluru…this dynamic city is already home to so many of our talented teams, including software engineering and hardware technologies, operations, customer support, and more,” said a company spokesperson.

Apple’s growing presence in India: The Bengaluru office marks the latest addition to Apple's corporate presence across major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. This expansion represents a significant milestone in Apple’s over 25-year journey in India.
Apple’s Bengaluru teams work in a variety of sectors, including software, hardware, services, and customer support. The American tech giant currently employs nearly 3,000 people in India.
Beyond its corporate footprint, Apple collaborates with Indian suppliers, supporting hundreds of thousands of local jobs. The Cupertino giant also actively partners across India to focus on environmental protection and to expand access to education and employment opportunities.
