On the flip side, Polycab India and Zee Entertainment Enterprises were among the biggest losers, witnessing declines of 8.93% and 7.86%, respectively. Allcargo Logistics, Vodafone Idea, and Capri Global Capital Limited also experienced notable decreases in their stock prices.
On Tuesday, the Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, concluded the trading session on a flat note after surrendering most of the gains achieved earlier in the day. The Sensex finished at 71,386.21, posting a modest increase of 31 points. However, it retraced approximately 650 points from the day’s high. Similarly, the Nifty closed in the vicinity of the 21,550 level.
Meanwhile, the Nifty 500 concluded the day 0.2% higher. The index had experienced intraday gains of up to 0.9%.
