Hero MotoCorp Leads Gainers As Markets End Flat After Volatile Session

Tuesday’s trading session concluded with Hero MotoCorp emerging as the standout gainer, while Britannia Industries faced the most significant decline.

Hero MotoCorp led the gainers with a 2.57% increase to ₹4112.5. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise followed with gains of 2.42% and 2.04%, respectively. SBI Life Insurance and Adani Enterprises also experienced positive movements.

Conversely, Britannia Industries recorded the biggest loss, dropping by 1.06% to ₹5122.4. Nestle India, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, and HDFC Bank also saw declines in their stock values.

The Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, ended the trading session on a flat note after relinquishing most of the gains accrued earlier in the day. The Sensex concluded at 71,386.21, registering an increase of 31 points. However, it erased around 650 points from the day’s high. Similarly, the Nifty closed near the 21,550 level. The fluctuations in the market and the modest closing indicate a mixed and volatile trading day for investors.
