As the trading week commenced, the NIFTY 500 Index displayed a varied performance, with companies like Alkyl Amines Chemicals and Castrol India advancing, whereas others like Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation and Safari Industries fell behind.

Leading the gainers, Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals reported a significant jump of 13.4%, closing at ₹273.75. JBM Auto followed closely, with its shares soaring by 10.59%, ending the day at ₹1,619.34.

Other notable gainers included Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company, which climbed 7.22% to ₹307.5, and Castrol India, with a gain of 6.65%, finishing at ₹191.70. Alkyl Amines Chemicals also ended on a high note, with its shares increasing by 6.53% to ₹2,701.35.

On the other side of the spectrum, Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation experienced a dip of 3.65%, closing at INR 1516.75. Safari Industries also faced a decline of 3.19%, closing at ₹1,889.05.

Further, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company and Sonata Software recorded losses of 2.73% and 2.67% respectively, with their stocks closing at ₹1225.35 and ₹722.90. Birlasoft also witnessed a decrease in its shares by 2.59%, closing the day at ₹702.34.

The day concluded with a mix of gains and losses, highlighting the diverse performance across the NIFTY 500 Index, with Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals leading the gains and Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation marking the most significant drop.
