Coal India Leads Gainers As Markets Hit Fresh All-Time Highs

In today’s trading session, the NIFTY 50 index saw some notable movements. The key performers that stole the spotlight were Coal India and Adani Ports, with the former topping the gainers’ list and the latter languishing at the bottom of the losers’ stack.

Coal India surged to ₹366.95, reflecting a 5.55% increase from its last close at ₹347.65. This leap marked the highest gain among the top five performers today.

Next in line was Nestle India which saw its stock price swell by 4.66% to hit ₹25,489.70, as against its last closing price of ₹24,354.25.

NTPC followed suit, registering a 2.13% rise to reach ₹309.65, up from its previous close at INR 303.20. Tata Consumer Products and Cipla also made it to the top five gainers, with their stocks advancing by 1.73% and 1.67% respectively.

On the flip side, Adani Ports led the pack of losers, witnessing a drop of 1.85% to settle at ₹1,074.00, down from its last close of ₹1,094.30.

Hero MotoCorp followed closely behind, recording a 1.75% dip to ₹3,821.85, compared to its last closing price of ₹3,889.75. SBI Life Insurance and Wipro also had a tough day, with their stocks slipping by 1.55% and 1.47% respectively. Adani Enterprises rounded off the bottom five performers, shedding 1.32% of its stock value.
