IT Giants Continue Domination As Markets Scale New Highs Again

As the stock market wrapped up for the day, the Nifty 50 index showed a mixed bag of results with certain stocks making significant gains and others losing ground. The top performers included Adani Enterprises, State Bank of India, Infosys Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, and HCL Tech, while Nestle India, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Bharti Airtel, SBI Life Insurance Company Limited, and Bajaj Auto Limited slid down.

HCL Technologies Limited, emerged as the top gainer, experiencing a 5.42% jump in its stock price to ₹1,491.30, compared to its last close of ₹1,414.60.

Following close on its heels was Tata Consultancy Services, with a 5.28% increase, its shares soaring to ₹3,861.00, a significant rise from the previous close of ₹3,667.25. Fellow IT services giant Infosys Limited also made a noteworthy gain, with a 5.13% rise in its stock price, from its last close of ₹1,501.45 to the current price of ₹1,578.40.

State Bank of India and Adani Enterprises Limited also made the list of top performers, gaining 3.94% and 3.38% respectively.

On the other hand, Nestle India took the biggest hit with a 1.72% drop in its stock price. The shares of HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited also dipped by 1.67%, while Bharti Airtel saw a 1.26% decrease in its stock value.

SBI Life Insurance Company and Bajaj Auto also faced a setback with their stock prices falling by 1.18% and 0.94% respectively.
