Jio Unveils JioTV Premium Subscription For Access To 14 OTT Platforms: Here's What You Need To Know

Jio has unveiled its JioTV Premium subscription in India, offering a one-stop solution for accessing up to 14 different OTT platforms.

What to know? Along with the launch, Jio introduces three new prepaid plans – ₹398, ₹1,198, and ₹4,498 – each offering comprehensive benefits such as unlimited data, voice, SMS, and OTT access. The plans vary in duration, offering 28, 84 and 365 days of service, respectively, each with a daily 2GB data cap and 100 text messages.

JioTV Premium’s extensive OTT lineup includes popular platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Sony Liv, Zee5 and JioCinema Premium, among others.

Things to note: The differentiation in OTT access is based on the chosen plan: the ₹398 plan grants access to 12 apps, whereas the other two offer all 14. For user convenience, Jio has introduced an EMI option for the annual plan and added a ₹148 data add-on voucher, providing an additional 10GB of data and JioTV Premium access for 28 days.

Starting December 16, users can purchase these JioTV Premium plans, accessible exclusively to Jio SIM users. You can activate various OTT services like Amazon Prime Video (Mobile Edition) and Disney+ Hotstar either through the MyJio app or directly on the respective OTT platforms using your registered Jio number. JioCinema Premium’s subscription will be available through a redeemable coupon in the MyJio coupon section.
