India’s NIFTY 50 index witnessed a thrilling trading day on Tuesday with Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports stealing the spotlight as the top gainers. On the other hand, LTI Mindtree led the pack of underperformers.
Adani Enterprises zoomed to ₹2,959.35, marking a hefty gain of 16.91% compared to the last close. Following closely, Adani Ports too saw a remarkable surge of 15.30%, with the stock price reaching INR 1013.10.

Adding to the list of gainers, Power Grid Corporation of India rose by 4.41% to ₹222.30. NTPC Limited experienced a price hike of 3.88% to ₹285.45. It was followed by another PSU stock, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited that saw its stock price increase by 2.32% to ₹472.20.

However, it wasn’t a sunny day for all. LTI Mindtree led the list of top losers as the stock price dipped by 1.61% to ₹5,487.65. HCL Technologies also suffered a setback, with a 1.52% decrease to ₹1,317.55.
Other significant losers included Hindustan Unilever Limited and Divi’s Laboratories, both experiencing a decline of 1.50% in their stock prices, trading at ₹2,563.25 and ₹3,741.15 respectively. Eicher Motors also saw a drop of 1.05% in its stock price, closing at INR ₹4,136.50.
