The Tata Technologies IPO marked a significant milestone as it represented the Tata Group’s first public offering in over 19 years. The IPO generated substantial interest from investors, being oversubscribed by a remarkable 69.43 times. The total bids received amounted to 312.64 crore equity shares, far exceeding the available 4.5 crore shares for subscription.
Within different investor categories, the qualified institutional bidders (QIBs) category witnessed the highest oversubscription, reaching 203.41 times. Other categories also demonstrated strong interest, with the non-institutional investors’ (NII) category oversubscribed at 62.11 times, retail investors’ quota at 16.5 times, and the employees’ portion at 3.7 times.
