Nifty 50’s trading data signals a vibrant day in the Indian stock market, featuring a striking performance by Adani Enterprises as the top gainer.

Adani Enterprises emerged as the star performer today, registering a significant 8.9% rise from its previous close at ₹2,225.45 to the current price of ₹2,423.5. This impressive surge places it at the forefront of the Nifty 50’s top 5 gainers of the day.

Following closely, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone also exhibited robust growth, escalating by 5.3% from the last close of ₹795.55 to a current price of ₹837.7.

Third in line, Tata Motors has shown a commendable improvement in its stock value, observing a 3.53% rise from 673.7 to 697.5. Tata Motors’ share price broke its three-straight session losing streak.

Another noteworthy performer, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, witnessed a 3.39% increase from its last close of ₹410.6, currently priced at ₹424.5. Lastly, rounding off the top 5 gainers, Coal India experienced a 2.75% hike, moving from ₹332.8 to ₹341.95.

On the flip side, the day’s trading data also revealed the top 5 underperformers.

Thirdly, Eicher Motors marked a slip of 0.58% from ₹3,849.05 to ₹3,826.7. In the same vein, ITC Limited also witnessed a slight decrease of 0.58% from its last close of ₹437.8, with the current price standing at ₹435.25.

Finally, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (APOLLOHOSP.NS) rounded off the top 5 losers with a marginal dip of 0.64% from ₹5,401.3 to ₹5,366.8.
