Praj Industries Limited and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited rounded out the top five gainers, escalating by 6.21% and 5.26% respectively. Praj Industries Limited closed at ₹615.90, up from ₹579.85, while Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited ended the day at ₹226.30, rising from its last close of ₹215.00.
However, not all stocks enjoyed a positive trajectory. Cipla experienced a significant drop, skidding by 7.93% to close at ₹1,170.65, a sharp decline from its previous close at ₹1,271.50.
Tube Investments of India was the worst performer of the day, plummeting by 8.25%. The stock closed at ₹3,422.45, a stark drop from its last close of ₹3,730.35.
Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited, JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited, and Home First Finance Company India Limited also found themselves among the bottom five performers, with losses of 4.22%, 4.16%, and 4.08% respectively.
