Amazon Prime Video has partnered with India’s Fancode to launch a dedicated sports channel on Prime Video Channels in India. Fancode, holding exclusive rights to various sporting events, offers subscribers a wide array of tournaments.
This includes the Carabao Cup, Women's Big Bash League, FIFA U17 World Cup, Barclays Women's Super League, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup and Yuva Kabaddi. Additionally, the channel will feature the Super Smash and England’s tour of the West Indies later this year.

What to know? Launched at an introductory price of ₹249 per year, the channel covers over 15 different sports, such as cricket, football, rugby, kabaddi, basketball, and horse racing. Yannick Colaco, co-founder of FanCode, expressed enthusiasm about reaching more sports fans through this collaboration, emphasizing that FanCode is the first sports platform on Prime Video Channels.
Vivek Srivastava, head of Prime Video Channels in India, shared his excitement about the partnership, noting its potential to offer a diverse and immersive sports viewing experience.
He highlighted the convenience for sports lovers to access their favourite sports in one place and the opportunity this addition provides to enhance Prime Video Channels' overall entertainment offerings, including international and local content, children's programming, and now live sports.
