TCS, Infosys Among Top Gainers As IT Stocks Light Up Markets

In today’s trading session, the NIFTY 50 index saw a significant shift in the fortunes of several companies. Hero MotoCorp emerged as the top performer. The company’s stock price surged to ₹3,280.05, a 3.22% jump from its last closing price of ₹3,177.85.

Following closely was Tech Mahindra, which also had a remarkable day. The IT giant’s stock price increased by 2.85% from its previous close, reaching ₹1,207.20.

Tata Consultancy Services was another standout, with a current price of ₹3497.85, up by 2.75% from its last close of ₹3,404.30. Next in line was another IT giant, HCL Tech its stock price increased by 2.69%, ending the trading day at ₹1,311.05. Infosys also had a good day with a 2.44% increase in its stock price, reaching ₹1,444.90.

On the flip side, Axis Bank emerged as the biggest loser in today’s trade. The bank’s stock suffered a 1.44% decline, closing at ₹1,026.35. Coal India also couldn’t escape the downtrend, with its stock price falling by 1.37% to ₹345.80.

Tata Consumer Products saw a decrease of 1.03% in its stock price, closing the day at ₹920.05. Adani Enterprises also faced a downturn, with its stock price falling by 0.88%, ending the trading day at ₹2,205.90. Lastly, ITC  experienced a slight decline in its stock price by 0.75%, closing at ₹438.65.
