Muhurat Trading 2023: Coal India Leads Gainers In Nifty 50 As Markets End In Green

The NIFTY 50 index reported a mixed performance with Coal India leading the gainers and Britannia bearing the brunt amongst the losers.

Topping the list of bullish stocks was the coal giant, which saw an impressive surge of 2.60% from its last close price, standing strong at ₹331.80.

Next in line among the top performers was UPL, notching a 1.57% gain from its last closing price. The stock currently trades at ₹555.75, up from its previous close at ₹547.15.

Infosys, also made notable strides with a 1.41% increase. The stock currently trades at ₹1,388.20, a rise from its last close at₹1,368.85.

Eicher Motors followed, posting a 1.09% gain, with its current price sitting at ₹3,579.30 from a last close of ₹3,540.75.

Closing the list of top gainers was another auto giant, Bajaj Auto which saw a marginal increase of 0.94%, with its current price at ₹5,442.55, a slight increase from its last close at ₹5,392.05.

On the flip side, Britannia was the underperformer of the day, slipping by 0.11% from its last close. The stock is currently trading at ₹4,676.60, down from its last close at ₹4,681.95.

Following close behind was Bajaj Finserv, which dipped by 0.09%, currently trading at ₹1,594.60, slightly down from its last close at ₹1,596.00.

Apollo Hospital saw a marginal decrease of 0.06% in its stock price, currently trading at ₹5,275.55 from its last close of ₹5,278.50.

In contrast, Ultratech Cement and BPCL both noted an insignificant change in their stock prices, with changes of 0.003% and 0.013% respectively.

The markets continue their bullish trend on Muhurat Trading for the sixth straight year. Sensex surged by 355 points to ₹65,259.45, and Nifty 50 settled above the level of 19,520.
