On the other side of the spectrum, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) faced the steepest decline among the NIFTY 500 index stocks, with a drop of 5.29%, closing at ₹248.95. Amber Enterprises India Ltd also ended the day in the red, with a 2.45% decrease in its stock price, closing at ₹3,051.65.
Asahi Windshield saw a decrease of 2.38%, ending the day at ₹293.40. Birla Corporation, part of the MP Birla Group, had a mild setback as well, with a 2.06% decrease, closing the day at ₹1,272.55. Lastly, tyre manufacturer Ceat Ltd recorded a 2.02% drop in its stock price, ending the day at ₹2,107.10.
