Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited and ICICI Securities Limited also recorded gains of 6.2% and 5.8% respectively.

On the other hand, NMDC Steel Limited, a manufacturer of iron and steel products, saw its stock price fall to Rs 43.90 from Rs 49.84. Other underperformers included Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL.NS) and MMTC Limited (MMTC.NS), which reported decreases of 11.9% and 9.9% respectively.
